Displayed in the dyno sheet above you can see the standard horsepower of 9805. The engine had a Diesel Power Chip installed the increase the chip provided was significant at 109.8 horsepower. A reputable increase and from what is evident in the graph also assisting torque gains.
Power Curve Performance has removed the Diesel Power Chip from the engine. The ECU tune is able to command the same and more requirements from the ECU as the chip.
A common and by all means an intelligent question is. “Would it benifit me to leave the chip and the tune on the engine?”
Power Curve Performance professional diesel tuners are able to command the ECU to respond in the areas the diesel chip was. We are also able to command very specific areas the particular chip is not set to access.
